The day to day life of a singer depends on what kind of music he or she sings. If it's a Classical Music singer, that life will be different from a rock or jazz or country singer. Singers who want to become successful (especially in popular music) usually try to record hit songs and get those songs played on the radio. They also make appearances at clubs and concert halls, and sometimes perform on TV or radio.

Singers who are on the way up and are still not well-known generally perform at small clubs as they try to build a name for themselves.
