Density is found by dividing mass over volume.

The units used are grams per litre (g/L). You are given mL, so to change it to L divide it by 1000 first (since there are 1000 mL in 1 L): 9 mL/1000 = 0.009L

So then to get the density do the calculation:

9 g/0.009 L = ______

Hope this helped!

Density = mass / volume

= 16 g / 8 cm3 (assume you mean 8 cm3)

= 2 g/cm3

If you meant a block with a side of 8 cm then its volume would be 512 cm3 and you would have to use the formula to calculate the density. 0.03 g/cm3

The LINEAR density would be 0.5 grams per centimetre. Linear density is not the same as density.

What is density length of 4 widhth 2 and height 2 what is the the density?

In order to calculate the density, we need to know the mass and the volume. You've given us the volume ... it's (4 x 2 x 2) = 16 cubic units. When you find out the mass in that volume, divide it by 16, and the quotient will be the density.
