Density = Mass/Volume = 1.5/6.4 grams per cc = 0.234 grams per cc (approx).
64cc is 0.064L
i believe it is a 64cc chamber head, with 2.02 intake valve
64cc
64cc = 64 mL
64cc
Best for what. 58cc come off 305's. 64cc come off 327's in the hi compression era. The question to ask is what will your particular engine have for compression ratio with the head you choose. 400 stock blocks run 76cc to equal 8.5 to 1. So it all depends.
3947040....68......327.........."Right angle" casting identifier, 64cc chambers,good HP head, used in trucks, no accessory holes.This information provided by Mortec.
Around 375
Higher compression ration which can increase hp. I installed 49cc heads on my 305 instead of the 64cc and got a higher compression ration and a fair amount of hp gain.
If you're talking about a stock compression short block that came with 58cc heads, the old 64cc double hump heads would lower the compression ratio and make less hp.
I have a similiar setup, but depending on the style cam and intake you should be looking at around 375 to 400 hp. which in a smaller car such as a nova or camaro will put you in your seat espcially with a 4 speed and low gears
400 hp give or take..my friend has a machine shop and has very good luck with pro comp heads..
