What is the difference between a 5-42MHz 54-1000MHz and 5-1000MHz drop amp?

What the information is defining is the frequency range in which the amp will be effective. The 5-1000 MHZ amp has the widest signal range and personally would be my choice. It really depends on you application, amplification factors and how much .db loss per output.
