limbo is a peaceful place where sinners do not suffer physical pain
Mutually exclusive. The two events can also be exhaustive if there is no other possibility. For example, if you believe in a state of spiritual limbo, then there is a third possible outcome. In that case death and life are no longer exhaustive.
When a good action or form of worship is done for the sake of God, you get positive points. These points are known as thawab. If you have more positive points (thawab) than negative points (ithim), then you enter heaven. If not, you enter hell. If your thawab and ithim are equal then you will be in limbo.
Your money is not lost. This often happens when the details of where the money should be transferred are not quite right, so the transfer doesn't complete. Your money just sits somewhere (sort of in limbo) until you ask your bank to find it. The transfer is electronic and is traced every step of the way. You should contact your bank and ask them to track down your money. And be patient, sometimes it takes the banks days to get their act together and find the money - especially if it is an international transfer involving several banks along the way. For example, instead of phoning, your bank might send a fax to the next bank in the chain asking them to track down the money and the second bank doesn't answer the fax etc ... you get the idea.

Those who did not sin but weren't baptized live in the First Circle of Limbo.
In Dante's "Inferno," the noble castle in the first circle of Hell is Limbo, where virtuous pagans and unbaptized individuals reside. These souls are not tormented but still lack the joy of God's presence in heaven. Limbo serves as a place of comfort compared to the other circles of Hell.
1. First Circle (Unbaptized Infants/Limbo) 2. Second Circle (Lust) 3. Third Circle (Gluttony) 4. Fourth Circle (Avarice) 5. Fith Circle (Wrath) 6. Sixth Circle (Heresy) 7. Seventh Circle (Violence) 8. Eight Circle (Fraud) 9. Ninth Circle (Betrayal)
The first circle was limbo, the second held those who succumbed to lust, the third to gluttony, the fourth to greed, the fifth to wrath, the sixth to heresy, to seventh to violence, the eighth to fraud and the ninth to treachery (traitors!).
In Dante's Inferno, the nine circles of Hell represent different kinds of sinners and sins. They include the limbo for the virtuous non-Christians, lustful in the second circle, gluttonous in the third, greedy in the fourth, wrathful in the fifth, heretics in the sixth, violent in the seventh, fraudulent in the eighth, and traitors in the ninth. Each circle punishes sinners based on the severity of their sins.
Limbo, Rapacia, Blimpo, Fibble, Snivel, Precocia, Liptor/Wise Acres, Sadia and Dupli-City.
limbo?
Limbo is the the first of nine circles of hell where non-christian people or people who havent had christ in their lives go.... It's basically just a very dark rocky wasteland where your only company is other souls. There is no tortureing involved veryyy boring place
In Dante's Inferno, there are nine concentric circles of hell, each representing a different sin and punishment. The levels go from Limbo (where unbaptized souls reside) to the deepest level, where Satan is trapped in ice at the center of the Earth. Each circle punishes different sins, such as lust, gluttony, greed, wrath, heresy, violence, fraud, and treachery.
"Limbo" is a poem by Edward Kamau Brathwaite, a carribean poet in the 1930s about slavery and the boat journey of slaves being transfered from their native countries. Limbo is sprititually the place in between heaven and hell, a comfortable home. The slaves find comfort in the suspense, and paradoxically the continuos rythm of the game of limbo.
