Short-sighted; unable to see at a distance.
You're far-sighted. There is treatment.
long-sighted
it may be short sighted, my lab will bark at you if you are about fifteen feet away, even if its me! don't worry about it, have a check up with your vet and they should be able to help you.
A long-sighted eye has a lens of insufficient power so that it needs an extra convex (magnifying) lens to bring objects into focus. A more powerful lens allows objects to be focussed at a closer distance, and that is what a magnifying glass does.
Most .22 rifles are sighted at 25 yards. Some may be sighted for 50 yards, depends on your hunting. Try 25 yards, and hold higher for longer shots.
Sighted...Sighted
Myopic, or nearsighted. Myope, (Myopic is the condition not the person)
Far sighted. you can tell this by this way: Near-sighted- you can sight nearby things. Far sighted- you can sight far away things.
If you are myopic, you are short-sighted. Myopia is a condition where near objects are seen clearly, but distant objects are blurry.
Near-sighted means able to see things clearly only when up close, that distant objects are less clear. Another term is "myopia." In the opposite condition, farsightedness (hyperopia), objects are clearer at a distance than they are up close.
