60 has twelve factors: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30, 60

=====================

What ever gave you the idea that 60 has 100 factors ? Or more ? If somebody
told you that, then that person either knows not whereof he speaks, or else he
knows very well that it's not true and he's trying to confuse you.

First of all, no number could never have more factors that 1/2 of its value.
That's just a little factoid that you can use to amaze your friends.

60 has an unusually large number of factors. They are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30, and 60.
That's 12 of them, and that's all there are.
