It's the 10th year of the 21st Century.
You are referring to centuries. If you think about it, for any century we are in works from 1 to 100 years, with the last year being the number of that century. So 1 to 100 would have been the first century or first set of 100 years, 101 to 200 would be the second century and so on. We are now in the 21st century, the 21st set of 100 years, which is from 2001 to 2100. In 2100, 21 sets of 100 years will have been completed, so we are now during the 21st century even though all but the last year of it will start with '20'.You are referring to centuries. 1998 (54x37)
45; 452 = 2025.
It will be as the ancient Romans would have notated it MMLXXXXVIIII = 2099
The first year of the 21st century was 2001.
The year 2000 was the first year of the 21st century.
Both. It was the last year of the 21st century BC, and the first year of the 21st century AD.
The year 2000 was the first year of the 21st century.
2012 was the third leap year in the 21st century. The 21st century started in 2001, not in 2000 as some people believe, so 2004 was the first leap year, 2008 was the second leap year and 2012 was the third leap year.
1999 is in the 20th Century. The first year of the 21st century is 2001.
the 21st century is from the year 2001 until the year 2100. When it is 2101 it will be the 22nd century.
Because the first century started with the year 0001. The second century started with the year 0101. The third century started with the year 0201. And so it went until the 20th century started with the year 1901 and the 21st century started with the year 2001.
The year 2010 is in the 21st century.
January 1st, 2001 not January the 1st 2000, as many people will mistakenly say.
Right... Year one is exactly what it says on the tin... Yes ? And it is in the first century, was it not ?....... yes it was. So what year was it before year one ? What century was it last year, before the first century ? No ! it was not the year 0 or 0 century was it ! Therefore this is the 21st century: If we had a 0 century then it would be the 20th, but there was no such thing ! huh?! There was no year 0 or 0th century....
2004 is in the twenty-first century.
