To find the greatest common factor of any number of given numbers do the following

1) find the prime factors of each number

2) The greatest common factor will be the multiplication of all the common factors in all the given numbers.

e.g 3, 7, 10

1) 3=3x1, 7=7x1, 10 = 2x5x1

2) The Greatest common factor here is only 1

e.g. 10,15, 20

1) 10 = 2x5x1, 15= 3x5x1, 20=4x5x1

2) The greatest common factor here is 1x5 = 5
