There is no greatest number.
Whatever number you come up with, I can multiply it by 1000 and add 999 and create a larger number with a 9 in the hundreds place.
17538629 what is the greatest number you can make with 7 in the ten thousands place?
100,600
299
0
No solution. If it's greater than 3400, then its hundreds place must be '4'.Then (4) times (its tens place) = 2. There is no integer that can go in the tens place and make this true.

2,5 or 8
500
In order to make the number as big as possible, you would want the greatest value digits in the greatest place value. Thus the first number would have to be 9. Once 9 has been used, the second number would have to be 8. Then the third number would have to be 7 and so on. Therefore, the greatest 9 digit number with 9 different digits is 987,654,321.
The greatest number would be 871.
What are three different ways to make the number 15,638 with only hundreds, tens, and ones
I believe it is 234700. To figure this out, you have to look at the place values from right to left. The 0 is in the one's place, the 8 is in the tenths place, 6 is in the hundreds, 4 is in the thousands, etc. So anyway, you go to the Hundreds place (the 6). then you look at the number to the right. If the number is greater than the 6, then you raise the six, and make it a 7. Add 0s to the end of the entire number ONLY if you raise the number. To add 0s just add as many 0s to replace then numbers after the one that you raised. sorry if that didn't make sense =(
