The volume of a rectangular solid is calculated by multiplying the area of the base by the height (H).

The base of this object is 40 by 5 = 200 sq metres.

So to get find H we need to divide the volume by the area of the base..... 225 / 200 = 1.125

Dividing cubic metres by square metres gives metres ... so the answer is 1.125 metres.
