The least common multiple of 6, 9, and 12 is 36.

You can find the LCM by listing the multiples of each integer in the set, and then checking for the lowest multiple found in each list.

The multiples of 6 are 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, and so on.

The multiples of 9 are 9, 18, 27, 36, and so on.

The multiples of 12 are 12, 24, 36, and so on.

So the least common multiple of 6, 9, and 12 is 36.

We can find the least common multiple by writing out each of these numbers, and writing their multiples, like this:

6 - 12, 18, 24, 30, 36

9 - 18, 27, 36

12 - 24, 36

Now we look and see what the lowest number that all three of these numbers have multiples of. We can see that the least common multiple of these numbers is 36, so this our answer.
