x means the magnification times. 10x means it is magnified 10 times.

The word "magnify" appears 18 times in the Bible, depending on the translation.
6x5
2 to the 4th power times 5 to the 3rd power = 2,000
Impossible to answer ! 200x magnification could be created by an eyepiece with 4x and an objective lens of 50x magnification - but that's just ONE example !
Multiply the magnification or power of the objective lens times the power of the eyepiece and it equals the total magnification
Example: 4 = Low Power 10 = Med. Power 40 = High Power 100 = Eyepiece Low Power x Eyepiece = 40x Med. Power x Eyepiece = 100x High Power x Eyepiece = 400x
It has been a few years but I think it is just ocular times objective. (10x45=450) Thus, the specimen is magnified 450 times when viewed this way.
what magnification is electron microscope capable of
10 times
The objective lens (right above the slide stage) is 4x. The eyepiece (what you look into) is 10x. 4 times 10 = 40. Whatever the objective lens power is, you have to multiply it by the eyepiece power (usually 10x) to get the overall magnification.
In biology, the eyepiece in a typical light microscope is used for magnifying the image being viewed (the field of view) by 10 times. Secondly, the eyepiece also has a scale on it which is visible when you look down through the microscope at an image, or at your field of view. This scale has divisions on it which you can use to measure the length of the cellular structures you are looking at. So basically, the eypiece magnifies the image and has a scale on it which you can use to measure the structures in the cell.
The ocular magnifies the already magnified image coming from the objective. The ocular usually magnifies that image 10 times.
number of times an image is magnified
number of times an image is magnified
Magnifying an image allows for easier investigation and viewing capabilities. Images which are under a 10X objective magnification and 6 times larger than an image which is under a 4X magnification.
