The choice of 'nitrogen' makes this sound like a super-advanced problem in
higher math and science. Before we tackle this one, let's back off and look
at a slightly different problem, from a slightly different angle:
What would say is the mass, density, and volume of mud ? And what do you
think is the mass, density, and volume of chocolate milk ?
If you think about those for a second, you should realize that the mass and
volume depend on how much of it you have. The same goes for nitrogen.
Once you know how much mass you have and how much volume it fills, the
density is just (mass) divided by (volume).
Volume = mass / Density Mass = Volume * Density Density = Mass / Volume
Density = mass/volume Mass = (density) x (volume) Volume = mass/density
Density = Mass / Volume Mass = Density * Volume Volume = Mass / Density
since density equal to mass/volume then mass=density times volume mathematically mass=density *volume

Yes the number of moles = the number of grams in a given sample / the molecular mass of the substance. Ex. to convert 50 grams of nitrogen to # of moles of nitrogen, you divide 50g by 14.01g (the molecular mass) and you have 3.57 mol Nitrogen
