What is the meaning of unworthy manner in 1corinthians chapter eleven verse twenty three to twenty nine?

To partake of the Sacrament is to take upon ourselves the name of the Lord. To remember His sacrifice and to live by every word that proceedeth forth from the mouth of God.

One who partakes of the sacrament unworthily is one who has sinned and has not repented and has not sought forgiveness. To partake of the sacrament in such a condition is like crucifying the Lord over again.

The Sacrament is a sacred ordinance and should not be taken lightly.

The scene in the upper room was the first Sacrament of its kind although there were many Sacraments in Jewish history.
