A quadrilateral?
a scalene triangle has no equal sides. an isosceles triangle has two equal sides
Any non-equilateral triangle.
A non-descript four sided figure is a quadrilateral.
A trapezium can have 0, 2 or 3 sides of equal length.0 equal sidesThis is the general state of a trapezium.2 equal sidesThe two parallel sides can never be equal. The two non-parallel sides can be equal. In this case, the trapezium is an isosceles trapezium.Or one of the parallel sides can be equal to one of the non-parallel sides. No special name.3 equal sidesThese would have to be the two non-parallel sides and one of the others. The trapezium is isosceles.
It can do. The non-parallel sides of an isosceles trapezium will be equal. Also, one of the non-parallel sides could be equal to one of the parallel sides.
If the implication is that it is a quadrilateral with one a pair of equal sides and one pair of unequal sides, it could be an isosceles trapezium, or a non-isosceles trapezium one of whose sloped sides is equal to either the base or the top, or a distorted kite or arrowhead - neither of which have a specific name.
In geometry two figures are congruent if they have the same shape and size if they are non congruent they do not have the same shape and size two triangles are congruent if their corresponding sides are all equal in lengh and their corresponding angles are equal in size
A trapezoid can also be a parallelogram if its non-parallel sides are of equal length.
A Rhombus or a paralellogram or what is known as a "diamond-shape", like on a playing card. These would fit the criteria given - They are all names for a quadrilateral with four equal sides with non-equal angles.
Any four-sided shape is a Quadrilateral. This includes squares, rectangles, and the ones with 4 non-equal sides.square: 4 equal sides, 4 equal angles, all 90 degrees, opposite sides parallelrectangle: 4 sides, 4 equal angels, all 90 degrees, opposite sides parallelrhombus: 4 equal sides, opposite angles equal (not all 4) ("diamond" shape)trapezoid: 2 opposite sides parallel, other two sides NOT parallel, angles generally not equal (looks like 2-D pyramid with top chopped off)irregular quadrilateral: the others that don't fit into these categories
A trapezoid with even legs is a geometric shape where both of the non-parallel sides (or legs) are of equal length. The parallel sides, on the other hand, are not necessarily equal in length.
