A circle.
It's a perfectly rounded 2 dimensional shape Its perimeter is better known as its circumference Its diameter spans its circumference cutting through its centre Its circumference divided by its diameter is the value of pi which is an irrational number
A circle has all of it's points the same distance from the center. For example, if you put a dot on a given point on the circumference, or outline of a circle, all the points have the same distance from the circle. This only works if you put a point on the outline or circumference of the circle.
I am a geometric solid with one face that is curved. My surface is equally distant from my center at all points. What am I?
When the shape is a circle, then the perimeter is called"circumference".The circumference IS the perimeter of a circle.
Circumference is only used for circles. Perimeter is for every other 2D shape.
cen·ter[sen-ter]nounGeometry . the middle point, as the point within a circle or sphere equally distant from all points of the circumference or surface.Basically, the middle of any shape or area.

It's a perfectly rounded 2 dimensional shape It can be easily constucted with a compass Its perimeter is better known as its circumference Its diameter spans its circumference cutting through its centre Its radius is half of its diameter It can be concentric with other circles sharing the same centre Its circumference divided by its diameter is the value of pi Its cicumference is 2*pi*radius or diameter*pi Its area is pi*radius squared Its circumference touches a tangent only at a point Its circumference is a full revolution of 360 degrees Its lines of symmetry are infinite
The perimeter around a circle is known as its circumference

A circle
The answer depends on whether the n points are on a line and you are interested in linear segments or whether they are on the circumference of a circle and you are interested in the number of segments that the circle is partitioned into. Or, of course, any other shape.
A zero sided shape technically isn't a shape. The definition of a shape is a closed figure with at least one points evenly going to another point. A circle is the figure with the least amount of sides because it has one side, which is considered the circumference of the circle.
Circumference is only used for circles. Perimeter is for every other 2D shape.
