I think Ti(SO4)2 is the chemical formula for Titanium sulphate (it's been many years since I did my A level chemistry).
The (...)2 is needed round the SO4 as sulphate has a -2 charge whereas titanium has a +4 charge and so needs two of them to make the compound overall neutral.
There are 4 syllables. Ho-ra-ti-o.
really there is no reason for naming it like that. the name was simply chosen by TI.
on ti on: as is on ti for auntie
This depends on what function, and what TI calculator.
-2
Ti(SO4)2 (aq) <-- The original answer posted! This doesn't balance stochiometrically and doesn't exist as Ti III is obviously 3+ oxidation state and SO42- balance to give Ti2(SO4)3
Ti2(SO3)3 -Nov 20th 2013
