I cannot recall such a depressing film but there was a very whacked out if restrained song by (The mamas and the papas) called I think, the Girls are going to the Canyon, the canyon was presumably a bomb shelter of some sort, the song kept repeating that the clock always read ( i seem to recall, not good with numbers- 6:30. The clock that always read six-thirty, the Girls are going to the canyon. I hope this is some help , no sirens, bomb fuses or similar sound effects in the song, oddly, muted like (On The Beach) but more subdued. sick song.

To Survive
Nobody really knows, since no one has invented one yet. In fiction it has been depicted in all sorts of manners, including lots of grinding, or an explosion, or no sound at all.
