does the vehicle have an alarm, or does it have an electric switch in the cab to open the trunk remotely
My guess would be speaker wire.
On top of the engine..Two black blocks that have wires coming out of it
power = light green ground = black
it's inside the trunk latch... just follow the wires...
The problem probably isn't your fuse. The wiring that goes into the trunk lid is most likely cut because of a bad design. There are 8 wires going into the trunk (4 positives + 4 black colored grounds). The trunk release, two back up lights and a believe the 4th set of wiring is for the spoiler brake light if equipped, but not sure. Access the trunk by using the emergency release lever mid way down the trunk lid. You can get to it via the back seat opening. Once the trunk is open. Look on the right side you will see a black wire loom going into the trunk lid. Cut it open with a razor blade. You will see broken wires in there. I had 4 broken wires (3 ground and one positive) Fix the wiring by adding on a little extra and soldiering like colored pieces together. The wiring in the trunk is basically just to short so I would consider fixing all 8 wires and stuffing the extra length into the body of the car and trunk lid.
Looking at your engine you will see on top 2 black blocks (coils) and wires that come out of them into the engine. Pull the wires from the engine, and unscrew the coils from the top and remove them. Once you do, youll be able to see the plugs and remove them.
On the 323 and 95 1.8 liter, the Mass Airflow Sensor and the IAT are in one unit. I'm not sure which wires are which on your car but I believe it's the green/pink and red/black wires. Hope this helps! -Christian Riehlc@rider.edu
In electrical circuits, different colors of wires are used to indicate their purpose and function. Red wires are typically used for positive connections, white wires are used as neutral wires, and black wires are commonly used for negative connections. These colors help electricians and technicians easily identify and work with the wires in a circuit.
The red, black, and white wires in an electrical circuit serve the purpose of carrying electrical current to and from different components within the circuit. The red wire is typically used for the positive connection, the black wire for the negative connection, and the white wire for the neutral connection. These wires help to ensure proper flow of electricity and maintain safety within the circuit.
This is a common problem on this Charger model. Most people are finding broken wires inside the rubber boot that routes wires from the trunk lid to the trunk. Pull the rubber grommet (passenger side of trunk) back and inspect the wires. You will find one or more broken. If you have any electrical skills, it is an easy fix. Good luck!
black wires
First you need to build or buy a box that fits the style of your trunk, then install your subwoofers into the box. Before you put the box in your trunk install your amp and wires. Feed your subwoofer wires through the side of the back seat, there should be a hole in the firewall that leads into the trunk, you will need someone to pull the wires through the fire wall into the trunk while your feeding the wires through the wall. Then connect your speaker wires to the inputs of your subwoofers then set your box in the trunk and slide it back as far as you can(all the way back if possible) and that should do it!!!
