3 plus 2 is 5
4 plus 5 is the same as 5 plus 4. 2+3=3+2 i.e. the order in which you add doesn't matter... subtraction is not commutative as 5-3 is not the same as 3-5.
2+3+4=9
-2 + 10 - 8 + 4 - 3 + 2 = 3
(10+9)+(1−1)+(2−2)+(3−1)+(4−4) = 21This is the same equation rewritten: (10+9)+(3−1) = 21This can be done as 1-1, 2-2, 4-4 cancel themselves out.
4-2 isn't 3, it's 2. 3+2 is 5.
4 and 2/3 - 2/3 = 4 4/8 + 3 and 2/8 is the same as 3 + 2/4 +1/4 which is 3 and 3/4 4 > 3 + 3/4 (aka, yes)
2/3 plus 4/6 equals 1 1/3. 2/3 has the same value as 4/6 so in effect you are adding 4/6 and 4/6 together, which equals 8/6 or 1 1/3.
The answer is: (-5)+(-2)+3 = -4
2 + 3 + 4 = 9
