well since we know that 3 can go into both those numbers we can take the equation 33 over 81 and further simplify it by dividing it by 3 over 3 this equalling 11 over 27. And since 11 is a prime number (so is 27) we know that this is the correct answer.

* * * * *

Correct answer but wromg reasoning towards the end.

1. 27 is NOT a prime: 27 = 3*9

2. The fact that 11 is a prime is not sufficient for the fraction to be in its lowest form: 11/22 simplifies to 1/2.

3. Nor is primality a necessary condition. 4 is not a prime, 9 is not a prime but 4/9 cannot be simplified.

4. What matters is that the numerator and the denoinator are COPRIME, thatis, they have no factor in common.

Also, 33/81 is not an equation but an expression.
