First find the slant length using the following formula:-

Formula: (pi*radius2)+(pi*radius*slant length) = entiresurface area

So: (3.14*5.252)+(3.14*5.25*slant length) = 230.79

Dividing all terms by 3.14*5.25: 5.25+slant length = 14

Subtract 5.25 from both sides: slant length = 8.75

Use Pythagoras to find height: 8.752-5.252 = 49 and sq rt is 7

Therefore: slant length = 8.75 cm and perpendicular height = 7 cm

What is Perpendicular Height?

That means that the height should be measured perpendicular to some other line (or plane in some cases). For example, to calculate the area of a triangle, the formula is (1/2) x base x height, where the height must be measured perpendicular to the base.

What do you do to calculate the front surface of a box?

Because a box has 6 faces, the "front surface" is not detailed enough. If you are referring to the surface perpendicular to the ground and is facing you, then you simply multiply the height of the box by the edge of the base on the front surface.

What is the definition of perpendicular height?

Height from top to bottom.
