Never heard of centermetres before, and an area cannot be 120 centimetres because that is a measure of distance, not area.

Instead, let us start with an area of 120 SQUARE centimetres. For a given area, the shape with the smallest perimeter is a circle. A circle with an area of 120 sq cm would have a radius of 6.18 cm and so a perimeter of 38.83 cm (to 2 dp).

What is the perimeter of 5.50 square meters?

The smallest perimeter possible is if the shape is a circle of radius 1.32 metres (approx). This gives a perimeter of 8.313 metres. If the shape is a rectangle, it will have minimum perimeter when it is a square with sides of 2.34 metres, giving a perimeter of 9.381 metres. But it cound be a rectangle with width 0.001 metres and length of 5500 metres giving a perimeter of just over 11 KILOmetres. The perimeter can be increased without limit.

How do you find perimeter without the shape?

It is not possible to do so.

Is it possible for the perimeter of a figure to change?

no If the shape of the object is not fixed, it would be possible to alter the shape of the perimeter, but not the length, i.e., the distance around the object being enclosed.

Is it possible to have a shape with the perimeter 15 and area 13?

Why isn't it possible to make a shape with 18 area and 20 perimeter?

Actually it is possible.

Is it possible to make a shape with an area of 9 and a perimeter of 14?

Yes.

What is the perimeter of a 1348.95 square meters?

It depends on the shape. The shape with the smallest perimeter is a circle whose radius is 20.72 metres, giving it a circumference of 130.20 metres. The perimeter can be increased, without increasing the area by flattening out the circle. The smallest square would be one with sides of 36.73 metres (to 2 dp), and hence a perimetre of 146.91 metres. But the perimeter can take any larger value.

What is the smallest perimeter area 49cm?

I think this means we have a shape with a perimeter 39cm and we are asked what is the smallest area. It is a rectangle of length 19.5cm and width zero. Or perhaps it should read area 49 cm squared., what is the smallest periimeter. A circle with 49=pi x r2. Then perimeter=pi x 2r

How many feet is the perimeter of 640 acres?

Information about the area is not enough to determine the perimeter. 640 acres is 1 sq mile. The smallest perimeter possible is if the area is in the shape of a circle and in that case the perimeter would be 3.54 miles = 18717 feet. If the area is a square the perimeter would be 4 miles = 21120 feet. If it is a rectangle, then any value greater than 4 miles.

What is the least possible perimeter with an area of 169 ft?

The shape which minimises the perimeter for a fixed area is a circle. A circle of radius 7.334 ft (approx) will have the required area and a perimeter (circumference) of just 46.084 ft. The quadrilateral with the smallest perimeter will be a square with sides of 13 feet: a perimeter of 4*13 = 52 feet. Any regular polygon with more than 4 sides will have a smaller perimeter, for the same area, than a square.
