as we know that a hexagon is made up of 6 sides. if we half it vertically we can get two quadrilaterals.

=> so 1 quadrilateral = 360 degree

then 2 quadrilaterals = 2 * 360 degree = 720 degree

so the sum of the measure of interior angles of hexagon = 720 degree.

another method

(n-2)*180 degree ( n refers to number of sides)

(6-2)* 180 degree = 4 * 180 degree = 720 degree.
The 6 interior angles of an hexagon add up to 720 degres.
