The compression ratio doesn't deal with the displacement, the bore and stroke do. If it's a modern engine it should say the size of the engine in liters. You can use this to convert the engine size to cubic inches. A 173ci engine is a 2.8L engine when converted.
One cylinder would have a displacement of 21.2 cubic inches. By multiplying this displacement by the number of cylinders, in this case 6, the total displacement would be approximately 127 cubic inches. Area of circle pi x radius squared x length of stroke = one cylinder's displacement. be sure to use same units for area as well as stroke.
The Stihl 039 saw has a 2-stroke engine with a displacement of 3.9 cubic inches. The related link will take you to the owner's manual.
The displacement of the engine cylinder(s).
horsepower is engine power. cubic centimetres is engine displacement. (sometimes proportional but) they are not directly related.
5.00 L = 305.12 cubic inches.
Cubic inches of displacement in reference to a car is the volume of the cylinders in the engine in cubic inches. In most American muscle cars, part of the name refers to the displacement of the engine in cubic inches, for example the Chevrolet Chevelle SS454 has a 454 ci engine and the Oldsmobile 440 had a 440 ci engine.

About 146.45 cubic inches- if the ACTUAL displacement is 2.4 liters.
A 2.4 liter engine has a displacement of 146.457 cubic inches or 2400cc
