For design consideration Reinforced concrete is 150 lbs/ft^3. Unreinforced is around 145 lbs/ft^3. That comes out to 2402.77 kg/m^3 and 2322.68 kg/m^3 respectfully

How much weight will a concrete driveway hold?

The amount of weight a concrete driveway will hold without doing damage would be determined on many factors. For instance, consolidated area of weight..ie.#'s per sq. foot, concrete strenght, amount of reinfocement in concrete, compaction of soil under concrete when placed, thickness of concrete, etc. Most driveways should be able to handle a concrete delivery truck if the drive way doesnt have any abrupt edges that truck must cross and the tires stay a reasonable distance from the edges..Hope this helped..and enjoy the pool if that is your project

Why does young modulus have same you it as stress?

Hookes law says that stress, s, is proportional to strain,e, as s = E e where E is modulus. Since strain has no units (it is deflection per unit length) the units of E are the same as s. E is the slope of the stress strain diagram.

What is the SI unit of charge?

coulomb ----------------------------------------- Coulomb (symbol C) is a derived unit for electrical charge in SI; the base units are: 1 C = A x s So, the coulomb is the electrical charge transported by an ampere in one second.

What is the unit of measure for displacement?

the unit of measuring for displacement is cubic centimeter[cc]. The unit of measurement for displacement is the meters.

Does concrete weigh more when it hardens?

No. As the hydration process takes place after placememnt the water [weighing a little under 10#'s per gallon], Bleeds out to the surface and evaporates. This decreases the weight.

Is weight an example of a unit?

Weight itself is not a unit. It what we would measure in terms of pounds, ounces. These are units of weight. +++ Note that this uses the common definition of 'weight'. Strictly speaking, the pound, ounce, gramme, etc are all units of mass, not weight. Weight is the force produced by the mass subject purely to the acceleration due to gravity (9.8m/s^2 or 32ft/s^2 on Earth).

What is the standard metric unit for weight?

A gramAnswer:The metric unit of mass is the kilogram. this is often mistakenly used as the unit of weight. The actual weight unit is the newton (N) - which can also be expressed in SI base units as kg·m/s² (kilograms times meters per second squared).

What does the SI unit for speed, m/s, stand for?

The International System of Units (SI) has two type of units, base units and derived units. Speed is a derived unit. Its unit is Meter/sec. Its a scalar quantity.

Which metric unit is the basic for all the metric units of measurament?

In the International System of Units (SI) there are seven basic units of measurement:kilogram (kg) -- unit of massmeter (m) -- unit of distancesecond (s) -- unit of timeKelvin (K) -- unit of temperatureampere (A) -- unit of electric currentcandela (cd) -- unit of luminous intensitymole (mol) -- unit of amount of substance

Why it ms sense to multiply when you convert to a smaller unit?

It makes sense to multiply when converting measurements to smaller units because it takes many smaller units to make up a larger unit. So in order to translate larger unit(s) into smaller units, you have to break up the larger unit(s) into many smaller pieces.
