What is the value of a 1976 TVR 2500 with 36000 miles?

Is the car original or has it been modified in any way? These cars tend to have the original motor pulled in favor of a v8. I have a 73 2500M with 20,000 original miles and I think these cars are undervalued for what they are...a low production, hand built British sports car. Only 947 were made from 1972-1977, so I feel now is the time to buy as these cars will appreciate in the next several years. One thing to be concerned about is corroison on the chassis. If the car is in very good condition, well cared for and not requiring extensive repair the value would be $12,000-$15,000
