This would depend on the figure that you are talking about and if the figure is sealed or not.
In 1987, you are looking about $5-$10 for a basic figure. Hasbro produced the largest number of figures in 1986-1987, so these figures are very common. In 1989, you have the night force figures. These figures can go for $35 to $80 if you have all the guns that came with them (100% complete), and all this is based off a figure in greaTt condition. Also, the 'sky patrol' figures, when complete are generally worth in the $50 range. Again yourbasic figures are not worth much in 1987
here are a few common 1987 figures.
Jinx $12, Gung-Ho marine dress. $10, Crazylegs $10, Big Boa, $8.
Please not that a figure called "HardTop" goes for $180, when you have the mic and the gun. Payload, who also came in the Defiant Space station is in the $80 range.
Now, if you have the items MOC "Mint on Card" - meaning that the figure is still sealed, the prices shoot up depending on how well the card has been maintained. THere is also a grading company called AFA. To give you an example, a Night Force 2 pack would go for $550 if it grades an '85', a jinx AFA graded an '85' may go for $125
