I think you need a function for a vertex, this is a constant line; y= -x-3+1 which is the same as y = -x -2

the y intercept is -2 if that helps and you have a slop of -1 so that means you go down one space on the y axis once for every time you go right on the x axis. This information will allow you to graph the line and it will be easy to see what you are looking for
