∙ 12y agoVolume requires information along three dimensions: length , breadth and height. It is not clear whether "base is 50" means the area of the base is 50 square units or one of the dimensions of the base is 50. The question is mot sufficiently clear.

∙ 12y agoVolume of a rectangular prism = base x height. If volume and height are known, solve for base area by dividing volume by height.
The volume of a rectangular prism is base*height*length in cubic units
Volume of a rectangular prism is equal to the base area x height. (V=BxH or Volume = Base Area * Height) To get the base area, simply divide the volume by the height. (B=V/H or Base Area = Volume / Height)
Volume = Base Area * Height So Height = Volume/Base Area
Volume of rectangular prism = area of base x height
the volume is (base)(height)(width) ... base x height x width
base times height
Multiply the base area by the height.
The base area * height = Volume
Volume = Base*Height So Height = Volume/Base = 185.13/15.3 = 12.1 inches.
You can only find the area of the base with this information. The volume divided by the height will give you the area of the base.
Multiply the base area by the height.
