those would be linear sequences......sequences which are always increasing by the same number such as..... 2, 4, 6 ,8.....those are always increasing by 2.

This is so because their rule is 2n which is in the form of the equation which is straight when plotted such as y=2x

How do you graph using point slope?

A straight line on the Cartesian plane

Why the straight line in the graph does not start from zero?

There is no reason why any graph should start from any particular point.

What point on a graph represents ohm's law?

There is no 'point on a graph' which represents Ohm's Law. It's the shape of the graph that determines whether Ohm's Law applies. If a graph is drawn showing the resulting variation in current for changes in voltage then, for Ohm's Law to apply, the graph must be a straight line.If the resulting graph is not a straight line, then Ohm's Law doesn't apply.

How do you tell whether a graph shows a constant or variable rate of change?

The slope of each point on the line on the graph is the rate of change at that point. If the graph is a straight line, then its slope is constant. If the graph is a curved line, then its slope changes.

What is a slope when dealing with graph?

The slope for a straight line graph is the ratio of the amount by which the graph goes up (the rise) for every unit that it goes to the right (the run). If the graph goes down, the slope is negative. For a curved graph, the gradient at any point is the slope of the tangent to the graph at that point.

In an acceleration graph showing speed versus time a straight line shows the acceleration is?

A graph that shows speed versus time is not an acceleration graph. The slope of the graph at any point is the acceleration at that time.A straight line shows that the acceleration is constant.

What feature of a distance per time graph represents speed?

The gradient (slope) of the tangent to the graph at the given time - provided that it exists. If the graph is a straight line at that point, it is the gradient of that line.

What is an x equal to y graph?

a straight line with a slope of 1 with an intersection at point (0, 0)

How do you graph y equals 40x plus 50?

The graph is a straight line, with a slope of 40, passing through the point y=50 on the y-axis.

Describe the graph of a linear system with one solution?

Two or more straight lines meeting at one point.

What is the term for 'to graph a point'?

To graph a point is to plot a point on a chart, graph, grid, etc.

What is limit of proportionality?

It is the point at which the stress-strain graph of a material deviates from being a straight line. It is the point at which a material stops obeying Hooke's Law
