None, all students are required by school policy to take general education courses which has writing components in them. Although writing skills are not a strong indicator for a successful career in the workplace as well as in school subjects, you need to at least know how to write a resume, a memo and an email. If you cannot do these, then hewston, we have a problem.

It's a good idea to work on your writing skills but in most math based jobs like accounting and engineering, you don't need writing skills as much as your mathematical skills.

While you will still have to write some essays or papers, these majors focus on mathematical equations and number manipulation. Edit: As a professional statistician, I must disagree. You will need to justify your mathematical analysis - often to people who are not expert at statistical techniques. You will not get ahead if you cannot do that. Your clients/customers will not want just raw analyses but reports based on them. Often then will also want recommended actions. If you cannot do that, they will go to someone who can. So don't hide behind "I can do numbers but not write essays". Take some time to learn how to do both.
