Based on 2 numbers i would say it's 142
2264. The number is next in the sequence defined by t(n) = (244*n3 - 1449*n2 + 2819*n - 1578)/3 for n = 1, 2, 3, ...
One of my colleague's daughter asked the same question (it was a home work question to be solved for the Maths class). We could not find out the answer, and the next day the Maths teacher said that the book had been wrong (a mistake in the sequence).The sequence that was given was 142, 121, 110.But should have been: 132, 121, 110 (minus 11 for each of the next numbers).Perhaps this is not an answer, but when this girl was given the same question, it was actually a spelling mistake in the question (wrong number). So perhaps this is the case in this situation as well :)
196 = 142, so the next square is 152 = 225.
496-248-260-130-142-71
1, 2, 71, 142.
142 is composite.
35.5
No.
142.08 will be rounded of to 142... Anything within 0.5 will be considered equal to the previous number and denomination greater than 0.5 will be equaled to next number.
142 ÷ 2 = 71Note: a number that is halved is simply divided by 2
142 is an integer, not a fraction nor a mixed number.
