I don't know about the alt command, but another way to do it is to go to insert symbol. There will be a list of symbols. Choose the one for pi.
Alt 227
using the number lock keypad, alt + 227 π or alt + 1234 ╥
Using the number lock press alt 1234
pi is a Transcendental Number.
Alt+227 If this gives you Ò, try Alt + 960 These might not work for all applications.
alt P
The real value of pi has never been determined because it is an irrational number
i think its alt+p
Either Alt+210 (hold down alt, and using the numpad on the right of your keyboard, type 210 and then let go.) on Windows, or Options+P for Mac.
No; pi is an endless number. You can type as many numbers you want of it, or calculate things for as many digits as you can handle/your calculator will let you type, but pi itself goes on forever.
Its the pie formula
