a coping saw will cut tight corners internal and external. The blades are only 2 millimetres wide so are very flexible.
A jig saw will also do this type of work and is easier to use because its machine driven.

You need to make 4 cuts @ 22.5 You will have 3 peaces of base to make the corner. the center one will be small about 3/4". Be careful. The other way to trim round corners is to get some out side corner stock from a mill shop and make corner blocks.

THEY STARTED TO MAKE TE CASTLES ROUND SO IT WAS HARDER TO KNOCK DOWN BECAUST THEY WOULD START BY KNOCKING DOWN THE CORNERS TO MAKE IT EASIER SO THEY MADE THE CASTLES ROUND
Newer castles were made with stone and rounded corners. the reason was that it was an advance round corners were good because they had fewer space to hide and also the shape deflected any catapults or missiles.
