There are many different scientific names for paramecium's one of which is Paramecium pentaurelia. This paramecium, like many others has a shoe-like shape and moves by waving it's cilia(tiny oar-like hairs).
A paramecium looks like germs but only different. It has a dot in the middle that is were the baby paramecium live till the are born. They sometimes come in red or green like Christmas colors. The Chief is always gray and also bigger. Each paramecium has a baby every day. They sometimes if you look carefully in a microscope fight with germs. There shape is like a blob of paint. How do i know this you might ask well even though I am in 6th grade I have a big science geek brain and I have a microscope that can see anything small. Also i study it almost every day at home, and school. Hope this will answer your question. Thank you for reading. ;)
Yes.
They can't change shape because of the thick outer membrane called the pellicle.
paramecium- move with cilia amoeba- move by creeping along with their pseudopod's also, paramecium are larger.
because it has a thick outer membrane called the pellicle
Paramecium is a single-celled eukaryotic organism belonging to the group of ciliates. It possesses a characteristic slipper-like shape and uses cilia for locomotion and feeding.
A Paramecium has an elongated oval or slipper-like shape with a pointed anterior end and a rounded posterior end. It is typically covered in cilia that help with movement and feeding.
The cell structure of the paramecium does not change.
A six sided shape could look like a Hexagon
