I cannot think of any 2-d shape. The 3-d shape with four faces is a tetrahedron.
There is no 3-d shape with 4 and 1 = 5 triangular faces.

A pentagonal shape has 5 faces. For determining the name of a shape, it is determined by the amount of faces. For determining the amount of faces on a shape, it is determined by the pre fix of a word. tri-3 quad-4 pent-5. hex-6 hept-7 oct-8 non-9 deca-10 and so on.

A rhomboid, possibly. The names of 3-d shapes with plane faces end in the suffix -hedron. If the name is to have 8 letters, that leaves only 2!
