Two. All prismatic shapes have two bases.
a circle
Prisms.
It is simply a shape which has two bases which are regular polygons. There is no special name for such shapes.
The bases of a cylinder are circular shapes. A cylinder has two parallel circular bases that are congruent and connected by a curved surface. The circular bases are perpendicular to the height of the cylinder, which extends between them.

prisms
It is a prism with non-polygonal bases. The bases simply be two identically shaped "blobby" shapes.
A hexagonal prism consists of two hexagonal bases and six rectangular faces. The hexagonal bases are the two parallel shapes at the top and bottom, while the rectangular faces connect the corresponding sides of the hexagons. Thus, the two-dimensional shapes present in a hexagonal prism are hexagons and rectangles.
A cylinder has two parallel congruent faces and a curved surface.

Bases are faces but faces are not necessarily bases.
