take your truck original sale value then kelly blue book it for the current year. take the difference and devide it by the 5 years. now devide the miles by five years. that's how much you could expect to loose with that average mileage per year. that truck shouldn't go below about 3 thousand in good shape example 50000miles on 5 year old truck $15000 original now worth $5000= 10000 depreciation over 5 years = 2000 dollars a year if you put an average of 10000 miles on her per year. history says the truck will stop loosing value at $2000 {this is only an example} TIME IS IMPORTANT AS IS MILES
