Flour, oats, barley, pastas etc
They are not directly compatible as one is a measure of mass the other of volume. The amount would vary with the density of the substance.
Oats are not made of wheat so they would be okay on a wheat free diet.
Oats are oats, they are grown, not made. You can make cereal out of oats, but not oats out of cereal.
The most common insect that is known for eating oats would be the weevil. It is not only known for consuming them but also for hatching in them.
Depending on the weight and brand of Oatmeal, but usually with Rolled Oats this would be about 4 cups.
Yes. Oats are a regular addition to most commercial feed grains. Cracked corn, wheat, oats and various other seeds make up both hen scratch and layer formulas.
There are a lot of ways oats can be prepared. What I do is: I put the oats in a bowl and add milk (or water), so that there are 1/3 oats and 2/3 of milk or water. Then, I put them in a microwave for a minute, after that I take them out, then I stir the mixture with a spoon and put them back for another minute. I continue doing so until I see the mixture is dense enough. Oatmeal is a little bit tasteless, so if you don't like it I suggest to add a little bit of sugar. Hope I could help.. enjoy your meal :)
Yes, you may have to change the measure thou due to the rolled oats being a little thicker density rather than the lightness of the rolled rice flakes.
Soy: depends on the kind. It will be clearly labeled.Wheat: it will either be clearly labeled, or in the case of oats- Oats are almost always processed with wheat. Oats also contain a very small amount of protein very similar to gluten. It would be best to avoid Quaker Oats if you cannot have gluten. There are plenty of brands out there you can have.
