A multiple of a number(call it x) is : the product of that number,x, and an integer.

So, if b is a multiple of x, than, b = n * x, where n is an integer. (n is called the multiplier/coefficient)

So, for 10 some of its multiples are : 20(=10 * 2), 30(=10 * 3), 40 (10 * 4) and so on.

Special Note: An important thing to note is -10, -20 and so on are also multiples of 10! Since, -10 = 10 * (-1) and -20 = 10 * (-2) and -1 & -2 are integers.
