divide 62 by 2 = 31
To halve a number is to multiply it by 0.5 - or to divide it by two. For example, half of 8 is equal to 8 x 0.5 = 4.
...but if you multiply a whole number by a half the result decreases. Half of anything is less than that thing!

When you multiply two prime numbers together they become factors of the number that they equal. Since the number will have factors other than 1 and itself, the number cannot be prime.
Not possible, two whole numbers can't equal to a number with a half.
Actually it does, whenever you mulitply and divide two negative and two positive numbers they always equal a positive number. When you multiply and divide a negative and positive they always equal a negative number.
