There is an infinite number of common multiples for 24 and 100. A common multiple of any two or more numbers is any number into which each of two or more numbers can be divided evenly (zero remainder).
The LCM of two consecutive numbers is their product. The LCM of two consecutive multiples of 5 is their product divided by 5. Two consecutive numbers cannot be multiples of 5.
