What was the NECAP plane?

There are two planes in the US inventory referred to as the "Doomsday Planes". The first plane is the E-4B, also formally known as NECAP pronounced "Knee-Cap". It is the plane that usually carries the American President overseas at long distances. It is equipped to stay up in the air for about 30 days with in flight refueling. The other plane is the E-6A Mercury. It is a modified Boeing 707, that is equipped with a retractable 2 mile long wire antenna to transmit orders in Extreme Low Frequency (ELF) from NORAD or Strategic Command HQ STRATCOM in Omaha, NE or NECAP to the US ballistic missile subs. It is flown by the USN and based at Tinker AFB in Omaha. These planes also have taken over the Strategic Command airborne command post. They will carry on the missions of the land based NORAD and STRATCOM in case they are destroyed by either a nuclear attack or terrorist attack. They were retired at the end of the Cold War. The plane is now called the NAOC, National Airborne Operation Center.

What is the average number of deaths per plane crash?

If you take the number of plane crashes from the last thirteen years (9/11 doesn't really throw the number off) there is a plane crash about every two days, with an average of 178 a year. They happen frequently, you just don't hear about them unless they have a high fatality rate.

Let us say that we start with January first. The first 9 months of the year (and assuming it is not a leap year) add up to 273 days. So you have 9 months and ten days.

Why do plane fares fluctuate daily?

Plane fares fluctuate daily because of demand or lack of demand. If there is a really busy time the plane ticket's price will be higher than in a slower time of year. If seats aren't selling and it is getting close to the flight date then they may have a seat sale. It really all depends on what time of year it is, how popular that flight is, and how many days till the flight. I personally have flown a lot! And each time you go to book a flight the price will be different, the price swings easily and quickly.

What sentence you can use for flight attended?

You are thinking of "flight attendant," and this is a very interesting expression. In the old days, the word was "stewardess," and it meant a young woman who assisted passengers on a plane, brought them food, looked out for their safety, etc. But as time passed and society changed, men decided they too wanted jobs with the airlines, and while at first the men were called "stewards," eventually a gender-neutral word was created: "flight attendant." So, now it refers to either a male or a female who helps you out on the plane: Jerry and Anne are both flight attendants with Jet Blue Airlines.

How much does it cost to leave from Houston to Indianapolis for one adult and one two year old child?

How? By plane, bus, train? If by plane, which airline? Airlines charge different rates, and the fees are based on how far in advance the flight is reserved, days of the week you fly, as well as whether or not you are flying coach, first class, etc.
