maybe you try the expierament.I don't think anything will happen. that would be a good science project. Answer #2 from a diff source i disagree that this would be a GOOD science project. obviously you didn't do any research before you answered this question. One can of coke contains nearly 10 teaspoons of sugar or the entire daily recommended amount of calories from sugar. Sugar in soda makes blood acidic, robbing the body of calcium and which can lead to osteoporosis. The sugar in soda helps to whither crucial bacteria in our intestines, reducing vitamin B which inhibits thinking, making children sleepy; for every can of Coke you drink, it takes 32

glasses of water to neutralize the phosphoric acid in your body. All of the carbs in Coke come from sugar. Therefore, if the Coke website tells us that there are 40.5 carbs in a can of Coke, it is also telling us that there are 40.5 grams of sugar in a can of Coke. 40 grams of sugar is the equivalent of 10 teaspoons of sugar. 145 calories is 1/20th of a pound. ***SO here is the answer of what one can of coke will do to you if consumed each day: ***drinking one Coke a day for a year is the equivalent of consuming 32 pounds of sugar. All other things being equal, drinking one Coke a day instead of an equivalent amount of tap water would cause you to gain 18 pounds IN A YEAR!!!!
