If your question concerns the ignition on some cylinders of a motor, then faulty ignition leads or a dirty distributor should be checked.
Depends on your engine: 1.0 liter 3-cylinder = 3 spark plugs, 1.3 liter 4-cylinder = 4 spark plugs
( 3 - 1 ) ( 2 - 4 ) spark plug wires from coil to passenger side sparkplugs ( exhaust ) =========================================================== ( 4 - 2 ) ( 1 - 3 ) spark plug wires from coil cross over top of engine to driver side sparkplugs ( intake ) front of engine ============================================================ The engine cylinders / spark plugs are numbered 1 to 4 , from front to rear The spark plug firing order is ( 1 - 3 - 4 - 2 )
1-3-4-2 1-3-4-2
3/4
The spark plug firing order is ( 1 - 3 - 4 - 2 ) The engine cylinders are numbered , front to rear , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 The TOWERS on the COIL PACKS are numbered : ( 3 - 1 ) ( 2 - 4 )----spark plug wires to passenger side of engine ( exhaust ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ( 4 - 2 ) (1 - 3 )---spark plug wires cross over top of engine to drivers side ( intake ) FRONT OF ENGINE
If you mean it is only running on 3 cylinders, you should check your spark plugs, spark plug wires and the distributor.
coil---3---4 pack--2---6 plug---1---5 =========================================================== The spark plug firing order is ( 1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6 ) ============================================================ The engine cylinder / spark plug locations are numbered : firewall 3 - 6 2 - 5 1 - 4 front
( 3 - 1 ) ( 2 - 4 ) spark plug wires on exhaust side ( passenger side ) - - - - - - - - - ( 4 - 2 ) ( 1 - 3 ) spark plug wires cross over top of engine to intake side ( driver side ) front of engine The spark plug firing order is ( 1 - 3 - 4 - 2 ) The engine cylinders are numbered 1 to 4 , front to rear
Could be that side of the coil is burned out.
I'll give this a try COIL PACK NUMBERING : 3-----1 2-----4------- (spark plug wire order for spark plugs on passenger side of engine ) ------------------------------------------------------------- 4-----2 1-----3------- ( spark plug wire order for plugs on driver side of engine ) ( FRONT OF ENGINE ) ------------------------------------------------------------------ The engine cylinders are numbered 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 from front to rear The spark plug firing order is ( 1 - 3 - 4 - 2 )
how do you know what wires to connect on your spark plugs example1-6 2-5 3-4 and how do you know which spark plug is 1 2 3
Mine is 3/4
