If you were in the UK you would be fine (2 litres = 0.44 gallons) but you would have a problem in the US (2 litres = 0.53 gallons).
a gallon-a gallon is 1000 liters
Yes. If you google "liters per gallon," you will see that a liter is just a bit bigger than a quart. There are four quarts in a gallon, but only 3.8 liters in a gallon. So if you have a 400 gallon jug, it would hold 3.8 liters for each gallon it holds. 400 x 3.8 is 1520. So a 400 gallon jug would hold 1520 liters.
You would need to fill about 4.226 US gallon jugs to equal 16 liters.
A quart is 1/4 of a gallon. A gallon is 3.785 liters, so a quart would be 3.785/4 liters.
45.44 half litres
4000 mL would be in the pot.
First, put the two measures on equal terms. Either convert the liters to gallons, or gallons to liters. 1 gallon = 3.785 liters, so 1/2 gallon would be half this much. Obviously, 750 liters is way more than 1/2 gallon, approximately 198 gallons. If by chance, you meant 750 millileters, then 1 gallon = 3785 milliliters. 1/2 gallon would be 1893 milliters, and much more than 750 milliliters.
Litres are a French invention, so there is no US adaption of it. There are 4.53 litres to an Imperial gallon, so I think the answer for a US gallon would be about 3.7.
Liters is the most appropriate measure.
Well I am guessing you are talking about 25 liters in gas or fuel, and if so then it greatly depends on you mpg (Miles per gallon). I will show you how to convert every thing so you can find out. There is approximately 3.785 liters in a gallon, so, if your car gets 20 miles to a gallon then you would get 20 miles on 3.785 liters. Using that conversion 25 liters would get you would get about 132 miles.
1 US gallons = 3.785 liters 1 Imperial gallons = 4.546 liters For 1 US gallon, you would have to add about 0.785 liters. For 1 Imperial gallon, you would have to add about 1.546 liters.
1 gal = 3.78 liter 1 Liter = 0.26 gal
