Unlike the 351c, the 400 didn't get 4v heads with 4v carb.

The stock iron 4v intake kept the same small 2v ports.

This is a very rare thing. An aftermarket aluminum 4v intake

is a better option in performance, weight, and cost.

The 400 also initially received a small block bellhousing in some applications.

Another rare part is that block with a dual bellhousing pattern, both big and small block patterns on the same block.
