Anyone working in any kind of science will have several hypotheses to wonder about, and to drive the development of research questions. But hypotheses are not useful just for professionals in the standard sciences. Any time you wonder about how a system or structure can be improved, you are developing hypotheses.

human beings are always looking for ways to make things better, improve them in any way they can for the good and future of society and our lives

it is useful in any situation, to use your brain and think of possibilities is good for you as it gives you intellectual stimulation and good for society because you could be the next inventor or come up with the next great ingenious idea.
